Splendora ISD receives Best Communities for Music Education Award

Splendora ISD has been honored to receive the Best Communities for Music Education Award from the NAMM Foundation for the above and beyond commitment to fostering music education across the district.

For 27 years, The National Association of Music Merchants Foundation has carefully selected schools across the nation from grades K-12 to earn this prestigious award for their on-going efforts to equitable access to music in school. The purpose of this award is  to encourage, strengthen and expand music education. Splendora ISD is amongst some to be awarded based on funding, instructional time, participation rates, facilities, and community support.
