Splendora ISD Honored as a District of Distinction for Visual Arts

Splendora ISD, which serves families right here in The Canopies, has been named a 2024–25 District of Distinction by the Texas Art Education Association (TAEA).

Out of more than 1,200 eligible districts, only 109 received this prestigious recognition. Splendora ISD earned the honor by exceeding expectations in a variety of areas, like student exhibitions and contests, community engagement, field experiences, and interdisciplinary collaboration, all highlighting the district’s outstanding commitment to visual arts education.
