Splendora ISD Adding Student-Created Dishes to Lunch Menus

New student-crafted creations are coming soon to Splendora ISD school lunch menus! 

Talented Culinary Arts students at Splendora High School recently participated in a USDA recipe development contest, where they showcased their creativity and cooking skills by developing unique, delicious dishes. The two winning dishes, an Italian meatball sub and a hearty “Wildcat bowl,” stood out as favorites for the SISD Child Nutrition Department judges and will be officially added to school lunch menus beginning May 8.

The inclusion of student-crafted dishes provides an exciting opportunity for Splendora ISD students to see their culinary ideas come to life, while also enhancing the school lunch experience for their peers.
