Men & Women Who Cook: A Community Food Event Supporting Splendora ISD Education Foundation
Posted: October 23, 2026
Some of the best moments in life happen around the table, when great food brings a community together for a meaningful cause. The Splendora ISD Education Foundation is bringing back their annual fundraiser, Men (& Women) Who Cook. On October 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m., this lively evening promises delicious bites, friendly competition, entertainment, and opportunities to make a lasting difference in the school district.
Men (& Women) Who Cook is an opportunity for community members to come together, share their favorite dishes, connect with neighbors, and support the students and educators who help shape the future. Guests can look forward to tasting a variety of dishes prepared by local participants, enjoying entertainment, participating in auctions, and celebrating the power of community involvement.
Proceeds from the fundraiser support educational programs, educator grants, scholarships, and innovative opportunities that enrich learning and empower educators. It’s a wonderful reminder that when a community comes together, even an evening of food and fun can help create meaningful change.
At The Canopies, we appreciate the special role that gathering spaces and shared experiences play in bringing people together. Events like Men (& Women) Who Cook reflect the value of community, connection, and making memories while supporting causes that matter.
